Obituary for Blaine E. Mohr
Blaine E. Mohr of Shawano was called to heaven on Friday morning, June 25, 2021 at the young age of 59. Blaine was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on June 20, 1962, a son of Lois Mohr and the late Raymond Mohr. Following graduation from high school, he worked as a construction engineer and went on to learn CNC programming.
Later, Blaine proudly went on to serve his country in the United States Army and National Guard for 12 years. While serving as a combat engineer, he was stationed in Germany and stateside. After retiring from the Army, Blaine continued to work in the CNC programming area.
Blaine took pride in his yard and enjoyed working with a variety of flowers, as well as working on small projects. He was a man of many talents. Blaine loved the Northwood’s to bow and gun hunt, fish, and take scenic road trips. He was a warm hearted and wonderful man who loved his wife, family, friends, and pets dearly. Blaine will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Survivors include his wife, Laurie Mohr of Shawano; his children, Benjamin Mohr (Jared), and Elizabeth Mohr; his mother, Lois Mohr of Hartland; his brothers, Mark (Caroline) Mohr of St. Cloud, Florida, Scot (Karen) Mohr of Oconomowoc, and Greg Mohr of Hartland; and nieces, nephews, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Raymond Mohr.
In respect to Blaine’s wishes, no funeral services will be held. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later time.
In lieu of flowers and plants, donations for medical and funeral expenses are preferred.
