Obituary for Elroy A.E. Mueller
Elroy A. E. Mueller, age 92 of Shawano, formerly of the Town of Washington, went to meet his Lord and Savior early Friday morning, March 3, 2023, in Shawano.
Elroy was born in the Town of Washington on December 6, 1930, a son of the late Albert and Elsa (Rademann) Mueller. He attended school in Bonduel, graduating from Bonduel High School. Following high school Elroy worked on the family dairy farm and took over the farm following his father’s death in 1958. He was a good and faithful member of St. John United Church of Christ in Cecil. Elroy was the caretaker at St. John’s Cemetery. He enjoyed traveling and enjoyed a trip to Germany with his Uncle Elmer. Elroy was an avid Badger and Brewer fan and took great pride in caring for his yard.
Survivors include his sister, Elaine Raguse of Shawano; nieces and nephews, Betty DeKelver, Robert and Luanne Mueller, Beverly and Richard Schoepke, Barb and Jerry Weisnicht, Ron and Lori Mueller, Gloria and Raymond Dent, Reinhard, Jr. and Gloria Miller, Dennis Miller, Rosella and Roger Vorpahl, Deloris and Mike Meverden, Paul Miller, Mary Lou (Brett Thompson) Mayer, Deb (Leon Powell) Zernicke, Judy and David Brose, Jeff and Nancy Raguse, and Tami and Rick Grygiel. Elroy was preceded in death by his brother, Carl (Adeline) Mueller; his sisters, Lorraine (Richard, Sr.) Miller and Irene (Clarence) Mayer; his nephew, Roger Mueller; and his brother-in-law, Casper Raguse.
A funeral service for Elroy will be held on Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 11:00 am at Mickelson Funeral Service in Shawano. Pastor Moira Finley will officiate. Interment will take place in Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will begin at 9:30 am and continue until the time of service.
