Obituary for Ford J. Comyne
Ford J. Comyne, age 62 of New London, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, February 16, 2022, following a battle with COPD.
Ford was born April 22, 1959, in Compton, California, a son of the late Eugene and Jean (Leja) Comyne. As a teen he lived in Cecil and attended Bonduel High School. Following high school Ford moved to Lafayette, Louisiana, remining there until 2018 when he returned to Cecil. Ford loved cars and sports, cheering for the Green Bay Packers and Chicago Cubs. While living in Louisiana he was an avid saltwater angler.
Those left to cherish his memory and continue his legacy are his son, Aaron (Charlena) Comyne of Lafayette, LA; two grandchildren, Jonathan Ford Comyne and Amber Elizabeth Comyne, both of Lafayette, LA; his sister, Andrea (Dave) Dittman of Cecil; his niece, Gina (Jim) Giese of Cecil; his great niece, Gracelyn Giese of DePere; and his loving companion, Janet Burton, and her family. He was preceded in death by two sisters and a brother in infancy.
