Helen “Vonda” Poling, 88 of Bonduel, passed away at home surrounded by her family. She was born March 15, 1935 to the late Emil and Mary (McKinney) Taylor in Southern Indiana.
The agreement Vonda, Nana as we knew her, had with God is done. She took God’s hand and entered into heaven. We are sad to lose her, but we can be grateful for the time we had.. In her last weeks, we were able to share memories, jokes, photos and more! She showed us that God’s plan comes first. She demonstrated remarkable strength and courage by showing her love and concern for each of us. She always took care of her family! We will miss her daily until we see her again!
After a short hospital stay, Vonda came home and spent Easter week celebrating her life. She was surrounded by family and close friends including husband of 68 years, Charlie; children, Sandy Daniel, Becky (Myron) Strobel, Dale (Cindy) Poling, Kim (Greg Metko) Jones; 10 grandkids and 19 great-grandkids.
In accordance with Vonda’s wishes this celebration of life was held prior to her passing. The memories made with her will be the ones we remember forever.
“When you believe beyond what your eyes can see, signs from heaven show up to remind you that love never dies.” Thank you for your love. We love you.
