Obituary for James D. Jarvis
James D. Jarvis, age 64 of Wild Rose, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022.
James was born September 2, 1957, in Racine, Wisconsin a son of the late Wayne and Eldien (Albrecht) Jarvis. He attended school in Union Grove, Wisconsin. Following high school, James joined the U.S. Navy and was discharged shortly thereafter due to a leg injury. He was employed by Jacobson’s Manufacturing in Racine and Super Steel in Milwaukee. James then went to work at Schneider National as a truck driver. In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing and fishing.
Survivors include his brothers, Jeff Jarvis of Golden, Colorado and Jerry Jarvis of Shawano, and his niece, Morgan.
A funeral service for James will be held on Tuesday, February 22, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Mickelson Funeral Service in Shawano. Pastor Moira Finley will officiate. Visitation will take place from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Interment will take place in the spring in Neva Cemetery, Langlade County.
