Obituary for Julie A. Galleske

Julie A. Galleske, age 66 of Shawano, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, March 21, 2023, at her home.

Julie was born in Oconto Falls on September 7, 1956, a daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy (Crouse) Estep. She attended school in Oconto Falls, graduating from Oconto Falls High School. She was employed at Piggly Wiggly in Oconto Falls then Carver Yachts in Pulaski. Julie owned and operated Crazy Lady Cleaning Service for many years.

On February 14, 1998, she was united in marriage to Bruce Galleske in Oconto Falls. The couple lived in Gillett before moving to Shawano in 2008. Julie is a member of St. Martin Catholic Church in Cecil. She loved her boxer dog, Ellie, playing computer games, and making graphic t-shirts.

Survivors include her husband of 25 years, Bruce Galleske of Shawano; four brothers, Steve Estep of Oklahoma, John (Sandra) Estep of Lena, WI, Jeffrey (Nancy) Estep of Suring, and Patrick Estep of Pulcifer; her sister, Ann (Brent) Galleske of Shawano; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her son, Jerry Lesperanch; her brother, David Estep; her infant sister, Dawn Estep; and her nephew, Adam Rymer.

A memorial service for Julie will be held on Saturday, April 22, 2023 at 11:00 am at St. Martin of Tours Catholic Church in Cecil. Deacon Todd Raether will officiate. Visitation will begin at 10:00 am and continue until the time of service.

Memorials are requested to the Shawano County Humane Society in Julie’s name.
