Lucas L. “Dibs” Christenson, age 46 of Shawano, died tragically Saturday evening, November 19, 2022, at his home in Shawano.
Lucas was born July 20, 1976, in Green Bay, a son of the late Steven Christenson and the late Jean (Schaetz) Kobiske. He attended the Menominee Tribal School and Ashwaubenon High School. He worked various jobs, including bartending, to provide for his family until he found his “dream job” and earned the nickname “Parts God”. He was currently employed at Alpha Automotive in Green Bay. On August 3, 2013, Lucas was united in marriage to Kimberly in Marshfield. Following their marriage the couple lived in Shawano.
Lucas was known for his quick wit and sarcastic sense of humor. He was the first to lend a hand to those in need. He loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Lucas followed Norse Mythology. He enjoyed hockey as well as other sports. Lucas loved a good round of golf, pizza, and his favorite meal, steak with a side of steak.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Kim “Kitty”, of Shawano; two daughters, Tayler (Tim) Otto of Clintonville, and London Bowman of Oconto Falls; his son, Trevor Christenson of Shawano; his stepsons, Nick Christenson and Andre Lampinen, both of Shawano; four grandchildren, Carson, Samuel, and Cameron Otto, and Nevaeh Christenson; two sisters, Jinger Kasiner-Sutalo and Cheryl Palmer; and many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Bushey, and his special aunt, Leeann Blazer.
A private family visitation was held on Tuesday, November 29, 2022. A public celebration of life will be held at a later date.
